GOLF RULES

TEE TIMES: From May 1st thru September. Tee times must be made for weekend or Holiday play. Members may reserve their times by calling the Clubhouse or signing the tee-time sheets in the Clubhouse.

SUNDAY PLAY: Now open for green fees to the public. Tee times are still required.

ALL GOLFERS, MEMBERS, AND NON-MEMBERS MUST SIGN THE REGISTER IN CLUBHOUSE! We would like to know how many people are using the course and also in case of emergency we would know if a person can be found on the golf course. NON RESIDENT GUEST will pay a fee as posted in the pro shop by the Golf Rules Committee. Each play shall have a bag and at least FIVE (5) CLUBS.

Only FOURSOMES will be permitted to tee off during periods of heavy play.

FIVESOME AND GANGSOMES shall not be permitted on the course at any time unless approved by the MANAGER. Any group of players delaying the match behind them or not keeping their place on the course must allow those following them to pass through.

NO CHILD UNDER THE AGE OF 14 shall not be permitted on the course on MEN'S DAY, LADIES DAY, SATURDAY, SUNDAY AND HOLIDAYS unless accompanied by a parent, guardian, or other adult player.

NO ONE SHALL BE ALLOWED TO RENT OR DRIVE A CART LEASED BY GATEWAY RECREATION UNLESS THEY HAVE A VALID DRIVES LICENSE. PRIVATELY OWNED CARTS CAN BE DRIVEN BY MEMBERS IF THEY HAVE COMPLETED DRIVERS EDUCATION. OTHER UNDERAGE CHILDREN OF MEMBERS ARE ALLOWED TO DRIVE A GOLF CART ONLY IF THE PARENT OR OTHER LICENSED MEMBER IS ON THE CART AT ALL TIMES.

ABSOLUTELY NO SWIMMING IN POND! SIGNS ARE POSTED! FISHING IN POND WILL BE ALLOWED BETWEEN SIGNS ONLY, WHICH ARE POSTED! NO FISHING DURING BUSY PLAY TIMES!

NO MEMBER can bring a motorized golf cart on the golf course unless it has been approved by the Board of Directors and a $50.00 fee plus tax is paid.

NON-RESIDENT GOLF CARTS must be approved by Manager. Players with carts will not be allowed to crowd or otherwise interfere with golfers on foot. Violation of this rule may result in loss of the golf cart privilege. The Grounds Keeper shall determine under what fairway conditions carts may be used.
